It’s almost February and the Theatre Cluster at Booket T. is already going strong in 2016. This week our Mime Show, “Children of War,” gets started and then the African-American Heritage Show Collaboration will run in early February. There are lots of ways to get involved by volunteering your time to “Feed the Kids,” working concessions for our shows or volunteering at the upcoming Winter Ball. If you have any questions about how to get involved or think you might be interested in serving on our Theatre Guild Board next year, please don’t hesitate to contact me at: email@example.com.
The school year is now in full swing and I encourage everyone to get out and attend as many shows and openings at BTW as you have time. The students are all doing great work and we are lucky to have so many opportunities to see their talents on display. Theophilus North is running this week, Wednesday – Friday. You don’t want to miss this show, it’s a funny, clever and intelligent show about life. The stage design & costumes are wonderful and cast does a great job portraying a time long before most of their grandparents were born.
Arts in the Park is coming up on Saturday, 10/31 and it’s going to be Spooktacular! The Theatre Guild will not only have a table selling merchandise, but we’ll also be doing a craft for the kids. Were going to need volunteers so keep your eyes out for the signup genius. Parents and students will be needed to make the day a success.
Playbills are a great way to say congrats to your student for his/her success. If you are interested in participating please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
